Layouts

Picture-in-picture either way round: the scene full screen with you in a bubble, or you full screen with the scene in the bubble.
Split screen: both cameras stacked top and bottom in portrait, side by side in landscape.
Side by Side: you on the left, your view on the right, in portrait and landscape.
Cutout (Pro): your background is removed as you film, so you stand inside the rear camera’s scene.

Drag, resize and round the picture-in-picture bubble, or make it a circle. Pro adds a border and shadow.
Record in HD or 4K at 24, 30 or 60 fps, with video stabilization (Off, Standard or Enhanced).
Rear zoom stops at 0.5x, 1x, 2x and 3x, plus a macro mode.
Countdown of 3, 5 or 10 seconds, and start or stop with a volume button.
Hide either camera mid-take with a privacy cover, which is recorded into the video (custom covers are Pro).
Save setups as presets (5 free) and start the same shoot again in one tap.
Instant preview, then save to Photos. Select several videos at once to share or delete.

Good to Know

Recording both cameras at once needs an iPhone XS or later with iOS 17. Demo Mode uses a single camera and works on any supported iPhone.
A single recording stops automatically at 10 minutes.
Your videos stay on your iPhone. DualCam has no account and does not upload your recordings. The free version is supported by ads and adds a watermark.
