The problem
Design tools are either free and limited, with a watermark or a time limit, or they charge before you can find out whether they suit you. For something you’ll use a handful of times per app release, a surprise paywall in the middle of an export is the last thing you want.

Hitting the limit
If you’re at 10 projects, nothing breaks. Existing projects stay open, editable and exportable. See where projects are saved if you want to archive old ones.
FAQ
Is anything watermarked? No. Free exports are unlimited and unwatermarked.
What happens at 10 projects? You keep full access to the ones you have. Creating or importing an eleventh asks you to upgrade.
