SpeedTrace Dials: 12 Speedometer Faces, the 30-Second Trial and What They Cost

TL;DR

There are 12 faces. Classic is free forever. Horizon is Pro-only; the others can be bought individually or all at once with Pro. Any locked face can be tried for 30 seconds on the road before you decide. Pro also covers future dials.

The problem

A speedometer is something you look at hundreds of times, so how it looks matters: legibility in sun, glare at night, a style you like. But you don’t want to buy a face you’ve only seen in a screenshot.

The faces

DialAccess
Classic (arc gauge)Free
Horizon (scenery scrolling at your speed under the sky outside)Pro only
Aurora (curtains of colour shifting as you go)Individual or Pro
Chrono (blued-steel watch with two subdials)Individual or Pro
Minimal, Retro LCD, Analog, Neon, Vintage, Rally, Turbo, Digital ClusterIndividual or Pro

Try before you buy

  1. Settings → Speedometer → Speedometer Dial (the dial store).
  2. Choose a locked face and start the 30-second trial. It runs on your own gauge at your own speed.
  3. When it ends, the gauge returns to your old dial and a sheet offers to keep the new one. It appears once per trial.

Buying

  • Single dial: a one-time purchase for that face.
  • SpeedTrace Pro: a one-time purchase that unlocks every dial, current and future (including Horizon), plus HUD mode, 0–100 timing, dial colours and alternate app icons.

Prices show in the store in your local currency. Restore Purchases is there too.

Tips

  • Pick for legibility first: Classic, Minimal and Digital Cluster read fastest.
  • Try the Horizon and Aurora dials as a passenger, not while driving.
